Season Highlights

2025 Season Highlights

2025 was the year of the World Championships in Tokyo. Two London athletes competed at the championships with Georgia Hunter Bell – silver 800m and Darryl Neita reaching the semi-finals of both the 100m & 200m and took 4th place as part of the 4x100m relay team.

Our first event of the year was the Main XC Championships held on wed 5th February at Wormwood Scrubs. The weather kind and mild, the marshals from schools were generally much better this year – and this has been steadily improving over the last few years.

Many thanks to Marilyn for organising, John Husbands (course and liaison with TVH and council), Stuart Pugh (officials) and Bridget, Alex Ralph and Sophie Barnes (registration admin) Michael from the facility and TVH for helping ensure it all ran smoothly,

Entries were up on previous years: with a total of 1,206 entries compared to 896 in 2024.
